Features Completed
Supports MP3 and JPG Files.
Cursor now Supports Custom Art.

Added Support for Background Music.
Item, Spell, and Monster Editing.

Event triggers, step events, zones, special items and keys.

Support for full screen AVI video playback.
Monsters can be given Multiple Attacks with Each Attack.

Non-Combat Magic Support for Cleric's and Mages.
Distant Backgrounds Feature added.

Core editor and game code, including graphics, keyboard
   processing, menu system, load/save games.

Dungeon and Wilderness map editing.

Combat system is Partially Complete. It has Limited
   Monster/Character AI, and no Spells. An indoor combat map is
   automatically generated from the current area Map.
   Character and monster movement/attack is done, as well as
   many of the combat menus. The combat sprites will turn to
   face the opponent, and will change to the attack sprite,
   ready sprite, or death sprite as needed.

Character abilities and levels, including determining all
   level/class based attributes such as saving throws, hit points,
   and THA0.

Sprites, big Pics, small Pics and animated small Pics.

Limited support for importing existing FRUA Designs.


Features in the Works
Networking (lowest priority).
Complete the Combat code. Includes Spells, Throwing
   Hammers, ect.

Spells and spell graphics - a lot of support functions are
   present, and the spell editor and database code is in place.
Improve combat Artificial Intelligence for Monsters, NPC's, and
   Automatic 'quick' player option.
Reduce File Sizes and Memory Footprint, This has been
   worked on some already, but will still be worked on as more
   features are added.

Probably a lot more that I have not thought of yet!

Paul Stevens You can thank Paul for the GPDL script engine. He also architecturally major improvements to text file scripting, map editing, and other things.
Dan Huling "Ziroc" Dan has been creating incredible artwork for DC, and we may talk him into writing code someday.
Kevin Wyllie Kevin has been helping out in the GPDL and artwork areas.
David Downing David has been pushing DC to higher resolutions than 640x480.
Derek Harmon Derek is re-working the character code.
